NOTE: Many of these projects affect travel on PA Route 381 south from the PA Turnpike. If you're traveling from this direction you may wish to allow an extra fifteen to twenty minutes travel time.

Bridge work at Indian Head will cause changes to traffic patterns on PA Route 381 between Donegal and Normalville. Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 1 and continue through the end of 2012 or early 2013.

PA Route 711 North between Connellsville and Normalville
This affects travel for anyone traveling north through Connellsville, PA. Various projects will cause up to 15 minute delays along this route. If traveling I-76/I-70 (PA Turnpike) from the west you may wish to stay on the interstate until you reach exit 91 Donegal and then follow PA Route 381 South until to reach Fallingwater. Bridge work along PA Route 381 between Normalville and Mill Run
Work on the bridge at the Mill Run reservoir will affect all travel on PA Route 381 South. Lane change patterns are in affect and traffic is frequently reduced to one lane during daylight hours. Delays may be up to 15 minutes. This work is scheduled to continue through spring of 2013.
