23rd Annual Twilight Tour
Saturday, August 25, 2018
5:45 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Make your summer complete with a one-of-a-kind evening at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater as the sun sets over Chestnut Ridge during the 23rd Annual Twilight Tour and Concert on Saturday, August 25.
This annual event, sponsored by Huntington Bank, begins with a wine and hors-d'oeuvres welcome reception at the Visitor Center. During the reception, you can enjoy this year’s exhibition at the Speyer Gallery, which highlights the pre-Fallingwater era when Masonic groups and Kaufmann’s Department Store employees used the property and surrounding land as a camp.
Next, experience Fallingwater and the tranquil sounds of Bear Run while enjoying a light supper and mingling with old and new friends. Explore the house as changes in light reveal new perspectives on details of Wright’s masterpiece.
At twilight, follow a lantern-lit path to the meadow for dessert under the stars along with music from Pittsburgh’s own Etta Cox and Al Dowe Quartet. Fallingwater provides house wines, or bring your selection to enjoy with dessert.
Tickets are $225 per person. Space is limited, and reservations are required. Registration is required by August 10. Please note that the event sells out early.
Reservations are accepted beginning July 1 online or by calling Fallingwater Visitor Services at 724-329-8501 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
A portion of the price - $100 - is tax-deductible and supports the preservation of Fallingwater. August 10 is the last day for ticket refunds.
To be appropriately prepared for the evening, we suggest casual attire, comfortable shoes, and a jacket or light sweater as the evening air is often chilly. If you have questions, please email email@example.com.
